Get a library card @ the Missoula Public Library

Use this electronic form to get yourself a library card

Here is how you do it.

Step1: Read our policy regarding library cards.

I agree to abide by the policies of the Missoula Public Library, and to notify the Library when any of the information given here changes. In accordance with Montana law, I understand that library records will be kept confidential and that the library discourages users from sharing library cards. I will be responsible for all charges for any overdue, lost or damaged library materials checked out on my card. If my card is lost or stolen, I understand that I am responsible for charges on it until the Library is notified of its loss.

**I understand that children have access to all materials in the Library, and I accept responsibility for monitoring my child’s access to print, media, and electronic formats, including the Internet.

Step 2: Fill in the blanks found on this page with your information.
Step 3: Click on the "Get a Card" button at the bottom of the page if you agree to our library card policy.
Step 4: Take yourself to the checkout desk at the library to pick up your card. It may take up to 48 hours for processing.

If you have ever had a library card with us before, do not fill out this form. Proceed instead to the Checkout Desk where we can reactivate your card.
